I met some funny and energetic kids while signing books and illustrating caricatures at the Annual African-American Read-In program at Laurel Woods Elementary School in Laurel, MD.

Earlier this week, the Association Media & Publishing held it’s annual conference in Washington, D.C. I had a great time networking with my professional colleagues. It was a wonderful and thankfully cost-saving local event that let me interactive with several professionals from around country.
